Description:

The full name of lithium battery mentioned here is lithium iron phosphate battery. We can also call it LiFePO4 battery or LFP battery. It is a type of lithium-ion battery using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode and a graphitic carbon electrode as the anode.

Compared with lead-acid battery, lithium battery has a lot of advantages such as lower cost, high safety, low toxicity, long cycle life, better charging and discharging performance, etc. That is why it can work as perfect alternative of lead-acid battery, and it becomes more and more popular in vehicle use.
